Commander Eric Miller accepts complimentary copies of his historical novel, for the Indiantown Veterans Association. Written as historical fiction about America from the mid-60s to late 70s, Chuck’s book addresses Vietnam, Watergate, and the political and social transformation during those years. Summer 2019

Shortly after moving to Stuart from Tarpon Springs, Chuck had the rare honor of presenting his late father a Purple Heart for wounds he sustained as a prisoner of war in Korea. The ceremony coincided with the August 2014 dedication of Purple Heart Park in the City of Stuart.

Shortly after immigrating to America in the early 1900s, their late grandfather Charles Wysoczynski, was drafted into the Army for service as an ambulance driver during WWI. He later became a tool and die maker passing on those skills to his son and my uncle Don who passed them on to my cousins who founded DieTech Industries in Carrollton, Georgia.

A long time defender of the 2nd Amendment, Chuck regularly attends the Friends of the National Rifle Association events and has played a significant role in education our Congressman on the intent of our Republic’s founders. 
The Indiantown Veterans Association celebrate completion of their herculean project of restoring the old VFW Post that was destroyed by a hurricane in 2013. Through Eric’s leadership a donated manufactured was located and moved to the site and brought up to code through the year long volunteer efforts of post members. Fall 2019

On July 4th, Chuck joined Lynn and her sister-members of the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Halpatiokee Chapter to dedicate the memorial plaque next to the Stuart Memorial Park Gazebo commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the sacrifices that their ancestor-patriots made to secure America’s independence as a Constitutional Republic.

Following Lt. Governor Jay Collins’ pledge to the Greater Indiantown Community Alliance to oppose fast tracking potentially harmful AI data centers, Eric Miller and fellow Alliance members apply the map reading skills, that they learned in high school, to identify potential AI data center locations that would pose health and environmental hazards to residents. Chuck will maximize integrating map reading, cursive writing, use of hard cover textbooks, manual mathematics computations and other essential life skills.
